1.) "Put things back where you found them" This line is important to me because one of my biggest pet peeves is when people leave messes, especially when they take things from where they belong ad dont put them back into that same spot.
2.)"Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody" This is extremely important to me, I believe this is just the right thing to do, I am pretty stubborn so this can sometimes be hard for me, but then i remind myself that letting my guard down and saying sorry is better then leaving someone that I hurt
3.)"Live a balanced life-learn some and think some" Most people want an answer to everything right away, however I think that sometimes it's okay to think about things before jumping to an answer, and maybe you can learn something just from that.

1. "All I really need to know about how to live and what to do" speaks to me as I already know what I want to do after high school and college, so I just want to finish school so I can pursue my dreams. I just want to learn skills that will prepare me for life other than history topics.

2. "Live a balanced life" is something I struggle with. Between sports, school, unified, friends and family, I never have me time and am typically stressed. Having a balanced life can help de-stress and enjoy what I am doing

3. "Be aware of wonder" speaks to me because I always like to wonder about the future and what could happen.

The lessons I learned when I was younger were all important to how I function today.
1. "Don't hit people" This quote speaks to me because my family on my father's side are fighters and they liked to fight people who were mean to them.
2. "Be aware of wonder" This line speaks to me because I have to remind myself everyday due to the childhood trauma but also just so I have a good day.
3. "Don't take things that aren't yours" This is important because my little sister has a tendency to take things if the proper owner doesn't claim them within 20 minutes.
I think that all of these are very important and help create good citizens in the future.

1. "play fair" helps me because I'm competitive and you tend to try to find ways to have an advantage. Playing fair gives everyone the same chances. As I learn more about teaching, this is important because some people are better at some subjects than others.
2. "clean up your mess" helps me because I need a clean space to focus on anything. But also when you make mistakes with other people, I try to fix things so I can stay close to the important people around me.
3. "Live a balanced life" I try to live a balanced life with friends, family, sports and school. I don't want to spend my whole life making sure I have the perfect grade, I want to have time to just be a teenager.

The poem "All I really need to know" has a lot of great lessons and a lot of wisdom in it but the three pieces I liked were:
1. Play fair
This spoke to me because I like things to be fair for everyone. As the younger sister, my parents would always give me what my sister got and vice versa, so living/playing fair has always been a thing I've known.
2. Take a nap every afternoon
This really spoke to me because a good nap can be very very helpful. Especially when you're in kindergarten or even highschool. We often over-do ourselves and then stress over getting assignments done so a nap is very much needed.
3. When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together
This part of the poem especially spoke out to me because it's something my mom always made me do. Even as a little kid, when we'd go out to the store, I would always stop and look both ways and cross while holding her hand, purse, or anything attached to her. Now that I'm older and I can cross the street by myself, I often find myself watching out for others when they're crossing. She also taught me to always be aware of my surroundings which comes in hand when talking about watching out for traffic, holding hands, and sticking together.

1. "Play fair" is an important one because to me I have always been taught to be fair in life. I use this line as a meaning of being fair not necessarily having to play fair but in the sense of being fair in every way you can be. Everyone deserves chances and to be given equal fairness.
2. "Say your sorry when you hurt someone" is a super important line to me because I think no matter what you should always apologize. Despite if you hurt someone mentally or physically, you should never leave them with that hurt so you should always do the right thing and apologize
3. "Put things back where you found them" is also a super important line to me because I am super organized and like when everything is in place in neat, I get that from my mom so she has always taught me that if you take something, you have to put it back where it came from.

Children are really impressionable and learn a lot when they are younger. Some of my favorite lessons in the poem are:
1. "Say sorry when you hurt somebody"
I think this is very important to learn. Even if you hurt someone on accident, you should always apologize and try and make the situation right. You should always apologize if you hurt someone whether its physically or mentally.
2. "watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together" I think it is very important we find people who make us comfortable and help us through challenges we may face in life. No one should ever have to struggle alone.
3. "play fair" It's always been important to me to not cheat. Even when you cheat to win as something small as a board game, you didn't actually win. If you cheat, you will never see your full potential on what you cheat on. For example, you may have been given answers on a test, but because you cheated you won't ever know how well you would have done on your own. Cheating does not allow us to see how far our abilities go.

This poem about valuble lessons learned when we were young is essential to incorporate into daily life.
1. "Play fair" means something to me because I was always taught if you cheated you didn't really win. I think games or any competition isn't going to be fun for either party if someone is cheating.
2. "Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you" is important to remember because I think a lot of us are too hard on ourselves and we need to remember to treat ourselves more often than we do. Also just taking a second to enjoy the little things is a good thing to remember too.
3. "Take a nap every afternoon" Most people including myself don't have a perfect sleep schedule and taking a nap when you feel exhausted wouldn't be the end of the world. If you are tired after a long day or you simply need time to rest after a stressful situation, taking a nap can help most of the time.

1. "Live a balanced life" teaches me that no matter what it is okay to take time for other things not just my academics. This connects to me because I tend to get caught up in my school work and tend to forget to live my life. Instead I just work on my homework or focus on getting good grades I end up not doing anything fun. In order to learn we need to know how to balance school and personal lives.
2. "When you go out in the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together." this speaks to me in more than just one way. As we grow up and grow apart it is best to keep the ones you care about most by your side. Hold on tight and go through the hardest parts of life together. In high school you tend to drift apart from people the most, but you can't go at life all alone everybody needs some support. Find your person and don't let go being out in the world can be difficult without someone ready to hold your hand.
3. "Put things back where you found them." This connects to me figuratively. If you allow someone into your life and choose to be friends with them then you do not just leave them when you don't wanna be in their life anymore. You cannot just leave a person in a bad situation because you suddenly want to be all done with them. You need to speak to the person and explain why you cannot just leave without saying anything. This also connects literally because in order to be organized I need to put everything that I take out in the exact same spot I found it or I forget where it is and lose it causing stress .

The poem All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten made some really good points. One line that has stuck out to me is ¨Don´t take things that aren´t yours. This stood out cause I feel that is an important lesson for when you're little and grown up. When your young and take something that isn't yours it's a mistake and nothing really happens. But when your older and take something that isn't yours it still could be considered a mistake but it could also be considered stealing and something could happen. The second line that stood out to me is ¨live a balanced life¨. This stood out because it is very important if you devout your life to one thing like work and do nothing else your not living life to the fullest. By balancing its allows someone to do everything they want to do. The last point that stuck out to me is ¨Be aware of wonder ¨. This sticks out cause I think wonder is what keeps everyone life interesting. If people stops worrying and trying to learn new things it will make everyone's life dull sometimes.

I actually can't sleep at night if I think that I hurt someone. It would definitely keep me up. We are all human and make mistakes; therefore, it is important to say sorry and move on.
"Live a balanced life"I really try to live by this one.

In the poem "All i really need to know I learned in kindergarten" the author made some really good points about learning life lessons in kindergarten. The first good point he made was "clean up your own mess" I thin this is important because when parents and teachers teach kids to clean up after them selves, helps teach the child how to be respectful to the people and space around them by cleaning up after themselves. Another thing the author said that I think is important is "don't take things that aren't yours" this is important because it helps kids learn the difference between wrong and right. Teaching kids to not steal is a way to try and keep your kids out of trouble because if they listen to the advice they wont take things they don't own. The third good life lesson is "say you're sorry if you hurt someone" I think this is important because its important to teach kids that hurting someone is wrong but if you do ob accident you have to say sorry. It's good to say sorry because it shows respect and might make someone feel a little better if you hurt their feelings or hurt them physically.
