That was until he decided that he wanted to give his kids a better life so he brought them over here and first started at Washington D.C until they later moved to San Diego, California.

As for my Dad he left to the Us after Highschool to be with my Mom. He first lived in Florida but soon moved to California.

The town barley had anything not even a movie theater coming to a city with more that 300 people where they couldn’t speak Spanish or English was hard for them, being unable to find a job, and make money it made my parents both homesick missing their towns. They also weren’t familiar with the holidays the only ones they celebrated was Mothers Day, Children’s Day, and Day of the dead.

They were scared if another attack would happen, felt unsafe in the country so they went back to Mexico for a while
