Later, I earned an Operations Management degree from California State University at East Bay.  I worked as a NASD Licensed Securities Broker with Prudential Financial. I also held a Life Agent's License for Health Insurance.  I utilized my education and became a real estate agent for Century 21 and also I worked as an independent Broker and Finance Agent from 1998-2008.

 I was pressured to change careers mainly due to the stock market crash of 2008. 
I wanted to choose something that I had been passionate about. I pursued a career in Alcohol and Drug Addiction in 2010. I successfully, completed requirements to become a designated Licensed  Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (LAADC), CADC-CAS . I also obtained an international certification to counsel worldwide with the  International Certification  and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).  

 I attended Grand Canyon University which is where I received my degree in  Professional Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. Bunji and Smee. Bunji is a Chihuahua mixed with Dachshund. Smee named after Smiguel on Lord of the Rings is a pure bred Chihuahua.
