The wampum belts are made to show the wearers rank, inviting people from other councils, and to keep stories. One of the most important wampum belts is the Hiawatha belt, the Hiawatha belt shows the story of how the Haudenosaunee buried their weapons to live in peace.</div>]]></description>

First they would plant the corn, second they would plant the beans around the corn, when the beans grew they used the corn stocks as bean poles, third you would plant the squash between the bean poles, the squash's low leaves created shade to prevent weeds from growing.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
