         <description><![CDATA[<p>Based on what we learned about Andrew Jackson today, I would classify him as a hero because he did indeed help many common men during his presidency. He made the National Bank more fair to poor white farmers, and was very popular with them. However, he did disobey the Constitution. He kicked hundreds of thousands of Native Americans out of their homes despite the wishes of the Supreme Court.
