         <description><![CDATA[<div>Stage 1: Forming.<br>Team members familiarize themselves with other team members. They engage in social comparisons, assessing each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Team members take part in activities to get to know each other and discuss goals to be reached by the end of season.<br><br>Stage 2: Storming.<br>Resistance to the leader, resistance to control by the group, and interpersonal conflict. The team is loosing and no one is getting along.<br><br>Stage 3: Norming.<br>Hostility is replaced by solidarity and cooperation. Conflicts are resolved and unity forms. Athletes work together to reach their goals. Meetings happen to adjust issues within the team and try start winning games.<br><br>Stage 4: Performing.<br>Team members come together for team success. They focus on problem solving and work on tasks and new ideas. Structural issues are resolved. Everyone has identified there positions and they are starting to win more games.<br><br>Stage 5: Adjourning. <br>Once a project ends, the team disbands. This phase is sometimes known as mourning because members have grown close and feel a loss now that the experience is over<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
