This beautiful silvered Canadian maple leaf is nestled amongst Moss Campion and lava rocks in Iceland. It is beautiful to me because the maple leaf is a special keepsake and also because this lovely, delicate purple flower manages to flourish in such a barren, rocky landscape.

This is photo of a beautiful pink sunrise in my backyard. The dark outlines of the bare tree branches looks so lovely against the pinkish-purplish sky. It is beautiful to me because when I see this I feel full of wonder and I am grateful that I have eyes to see such colours. It also makes me feel calm because I love to be outside in nature.

I think the Statue of Liberty holds the beauty of friendship and trust. France gave the United States of America this object of pure beauty as a gift to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence. The Statue of Liberty is a girl reading a book and holding a torch. I think beauty is friendship and beauty is trust.

I love this place. It is called the Outreach Center and this is the computer room where and all the children of my community go to learn about computers. I am proud I was able to take a picture of this little bird because it is so easy to scare it away, yet I was able to get close to it to snap the photo. The picture was taken in the middle of a large city, and the birds, the grass, and the nature overall still have a place between the concrete and glass. This is the beauty of it.

The Dungeon

The Dungeon at Cape Bonavista is beautiful to me. The sound of the waves crashing against the rocks creates a soothing environment and restores my state of mind. This place in Bonavista can relate to life in a way I think is inspiring. There never used to be tunnels here; it used to be solid rock, but the waves persevered. Every day they would crash against that wall of rock, and eventually created their own path. It gives me hope whenever I come here. It reminds me that there is never an obstacle you can't overcome if you persevere and never give up.
