  • Baptism - January 10, 2010 (Mary the Queen Parish)

  • First Holy Communion - December 2, 2018 (Immaculate Conception Academy - Greenhills: DTASC)

  • Confession - Immaculate Conception Academy - Greenhills: Chapel

    My favorite Biblical passage from the Baptism of Jesus is Matthew 3: 13-15 (13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.). I believe that this biblical passage teaches us the important lesson of humility whereby even though Jesus is a greater person and is the son of God, He still asked John to baptize Him.  Through this, Jesus is trying to teach us that regardless of our status, everyone is equal and that we should treat everyone with respect and equality.

I can express my faith through my daily actions and words by doing good deeds at home and in school, always praying to God, and attending Masses attentively. I am also always ready to help my family, friends and classmates should they need assistance with anything.  In line with this, it is important to have a strong relationship with Jesus to help us grow closer to Him and repay His love for us.  Thus, I hope to nourish my relationship with Jesus through constant prayers and by regularly reading the Bible.  I also hope to deepen my relationship with God through improving my relationships with my family and friends and doing more good deeds for them.  I hope to do all these to express my gratitude and love for God.
