 I'm the computer/media/drama specialist at Sleeping Giant Middle School in Livingston, MT. I teach "computer" classes to all our middle school students 6-8th grade. I teach a mix of applications, coding, media literacy and media production. I also occasionally wear the hat of theater teacher, district tech coach and yearbook advisor. To give you a geographic reference to where I am in the world, I live and teach 50 miles from the North entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Although I'm originally from Bozeman, MT (25 miles west of Livingston), my husband, 2 dogs and cat relocated back to SW MT 5 years ago from Seattle to be closer to family, and let's be honest, enjoy the beauty that is Montana. Some of my hobbies include: Reading, running/working out, gardening, cooking, and my biggest outside interest, playing music. I play fiddle, guitar and am a singer/songwriter. I'm in 2 bands, one is getting ready to release an EP in the next couple months. Here I am after recording a set for an online music festival. Playing music is so much fun!

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family.  I am married and have two beautiful little girls.  As a family, we love spending time together outdoors.
