Summary 1:

First Hills questioned the role of advertising in the effects of unhealthy foods on children. Miller, Carter, and Peetersent discuss this issue in their article. The authors say that despite advertisers' promises not to lure children, films and videos usually aimed at children feature the most direct high-fat and high-sugar foods. More cartoon characters designed to appeal to children are being created and used in advertising, researchers report in the Journal of Public Health Nutrition.

Summary 2:
A further question raised in the lecture is what the role of parents is in preventing children from eating unhealthy food.
Firstly, the author suggests that adults should set a good example for children by teaching them how to eat healthily. The fact is that two-thirds of adults in the US are overweight or obese.

Summary 3:
At first, people thought that sitting and watching TV for long periods of time caused obesity.
However, children's obesity is linked to advertising.

Summary 4:
1. Food and Drug Administration and the Department of Agriculture from the US state the food and beverage standard for children between 2 to 17 years old.

2.All the food on market for those children, should contribute to their healthy diet and meet the requirement.

3.Only 100 percent fruits, vegetables, or whole grains do not need to meet standards.
