Mattos said we can't do all 3 tiered interventions alone. He also mentioned (and it was repeated in our 1st debrief), that the best results are found with an expert teaching model. How can we as a team create collaborative supports while utilizing our teacher experts? We have such a group of people, now it's time to leverage our strengths. :)

The slides and handouts did not match the breakout, I will check the website again to see if they updated it. Owens had some really great ideas about verbiage and habits as both a PLC team and a Guiding Coalition. For example, she didn't like the term, "buy in" because it gave the option of "buying out" as well. She had a really good chart of wordings that I will search for so we can use it more effectively.

The guiding coalition develops a schedule/document of school culture and expectations (which will be built by the GC with feedback from staff). They will have documentation of who is at each level and a plan of how we will get everyone to mastery and how we support each other.
