Why they put “ In Darkest Hours “ in the article because in the Poem it said that “there are those who carry mountains on their back in the darkest night and blaze and blaze and blaze with light”. That is comparing to Malala because when she got shot , people put notes under her door saying to give up. That is why they put the poem in the article

Well I don’t exactly think that it is for Malala specifically for her but to compare and contrast Malala to fpthe rest of the girls who could of took up and defied them like Malala. Another reason I think the author of Malala the powerfulput this poem in the article is that it shows in the text it states “ and there are those who carry mountains on there backs in the darkest night and blaze and blaze with light.” In this peice of the article it describes malalas personality it shows how she stood out from the rest and in another part of the text it says “ she whent on tv shows.” In this text millions saw her on tv giving speech’s this is how she “ blazes with light.” And that is why I think that the Author put the darkest hours in this article.

I know that the author put In The Darkest Hours to show that Malala is a person that fights and doesn’t stand down. The pome relates to this because it states “and there are those who carry mountains on there back and blaze and blaze and blaze with light” this is a representation on how Malala faces all the bad times and take them on. But earlier in the pome it says “there are those who find shelter when the landscape is pounded by rain and heavy clouds cover spirit and body” this represents people who backs down when things get tuff and don’t put mountains on there backs.

We think that the author put The Darkest Hour poem in the article because the metaphor of people who “find shelter when the landscape is pounded by rain” represents all the girls in Pakistan who couldn’t find there voice to fight back the laws the Taliban made. The metaphor of people who “carry mountains on there back in the darkest nights” represents Malala who was able to find her voice and was able to fight back for girls education in rough times.

The aurthor put this poem in this article for a few reasons. For example Malala spoke up (she carried the mountain on her back) while others, looked for shelter in the pounding rain were hiding, being silent. Another reason why the aurthor put this text feature here is, in the text The Right To Learn stated that many girls stoped going to school on the Talibans order. Lastly, Many girls backed away from making a blog. Because of these reasons we know why the aurthor put this on this text.

The author put this poem in Malala the powerful because in the poem there can be rough times in your life, but you can fight back. Malala was speaking up and fighting through the rough time to have a quality education for girls. She went through the rough times and fought back. This show how they connect because she was the one that carry mountines on her back by standing up.

I think the author put the poem, In the Darkest Night, into the article because it represents the difference between Malala and the other girls. The other girls are the ones who "find shelter when the landscape is pounded by rain". I think that, that line in the poem is a metaphor for people hiding when things get tough. Malala is one of the people who "carry mountains on their back in the darkest night and blaze, and blaze, and blaze with light." Malala is like that because she carried the hopes of the girls who wanted education, even in the dark times with the Taliban controlling them.

We can infer that the author of Malala The Powerful put the poem in this text because it relates to her, for example in the poem it states “ And there are those who carry mountains on their backs in the darkest night” this can relate to Malala because in her speech she said “I am not only fighting for myself, I am also fighting for those 66 Million girls that don’t have a education. In the poem it is saying that the mountains are people that the person is holding or helping.

We talked about that ment thay even hard times they still try to make it better. So that compares to Malala because Malala doesn’t hide she speaks up.

I think that the author of “Malala the Powerful” put in the poem because when it said “There are those who find shelter when the landscape is pounded by rain and heavy clouds hover over body and spirit” its is referring to the girls all over the world that are not speaking up for their rights to go to school. When it said, “And there are those who carry mountains on their back in the darkest night and blaze blaze blaze with light” it was referring to Malala and the girls who were speaking up and fighting for their rights.

I think the author wrote in this poem because this poem is not for Malala but it’s about Malala for example it says “there are those who find shelter when the landscape is pounded by rain and heavy clouds hover” meaning that people and be quiet and not say anything, “and there are those who carry mountains on their back “ meaning that Malala can speak up and not be silence.
