What do we mean by Church ? Can we encounter Jesus by myself in prayer in my room alone ? Yes, but not enough. Why ?
1) to me, the church is a community of people who has the same goals and beliefs of the religion. it is where we can seek authoritative teachings from, and together we are able to go into the depth of life with others.
i think that we are able to encounter Jesus by ourselves, but it is definitely more effective when we pray as a community, and with each other's support and guidance, we will have a more full experience.

1) Church is like the boat of peter .The church makes and brings us nearer to god . Yes we actually can encounter jesus by ourselves but not enough , we have to connect with people to encounter god

1) Church is where we gather to worship as one body. It is not enough to encounter God by just praying in a room alone. We have to listen to what he g=has to say as prayer is a 2 way communication. we cannot always ask God for what we want. W also have to listen to what God has to say so as to change our life.

1) Church is referred to as a community. Although we can encounter Jesus just by praying in my room alone but we are not just an island. We cannot survive by ourselves. We depend on others to survive and we may try to deny it but ultimately we would have to face the truth, without relationships we are all helpless and we do not have a sense of belonging.

God made us by relationship for relationship. “Our God’s relationship with us, makes us in the likeness and image of the Creator. We are wired by relationship. Explain how and why through the Salvation history?

2) We were made to interact for one another as Moses was called to lead a group of people,David to be the ruler of a kingdom,Abraham to have many descendants and Jesus to die for the world.People of the past depended on these rulers for help, redemption and mercy.

2) We are made for and by relationship , god is relationship and we were created to depend on one another and have to connect and communicate with one another

2) god made us by relationship for relationship, in the likeness and image of our creator because he loves us so much. this was first evident to me when jesus died for us on the cross to redeem our sins. this shows me how much he loves us, and wants a relationship so strong with us that he is willing to die for our sins although we may always neglect him. also, jesus chose to work with sinners, moses the murderer, david the adulterer and all of us, who sin on a everyday basis. although we may not acknowledge it, we are made for relationship.

2. We are all made for relationships. We interact with people and we all communicate with one another. Even though we may think that one person, such as like ourselves, may not make such a huge impact on society but with God's help, it is possible. There are many examples to this like Moses who led a who led the Israelite out of Egypt, like Abraham who was promised to have many descendants even though he was already very old. This shows no matter which walk of life we come from we are made to follow relationships.

Why did Jesus create the Church ? What does this Church mean to me ? Why did Jesus gave us the Sacraments ? How does it transform us into the loving likeness of God ? Have you found the answer to your life ?

3) To me, the church is the body of our lord where we gather to worship him as a community. Jesus established the beginnings of a visible structure of the Church that will remain until the Kingdom is fully achieved. The sacraments are just like the rules we have in school. It is to regulate us and to make sure that we will not always fall onto the bad side. God created us in his image so that we can look up to him as his role model and to be more like him so that we can live good lives. My answer to life is to live it to the fullest and to be who you truly are. To always be happy.

3) The church is a place where we as a community praise god . The church is like a boat , it brings us closer to god , but first , we have to have a good relationship with god . The sacraments are like rules .

Q3) The church is, us the people that make up it.We must all worship God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind together in unity. We must open our minds to god so that we can encounter the holy spirit. When we all praise and worship together we will feel the Gods presence.

3) jesus created the church so that we will have a community of catholics. this community was created as we need fellowship with others and we cannot be saved alone. they can be our second family and together we will be able to grow in our faith. jesus gave us the sacraments as tangible ways to encounter him. religion is not just an experience for our soul, but we have to engage our body as well. so through the sacraments, we have a tangible process that allows us to be fully absorbed into the experience and hopefully, strengthens our faith. we are able to be more loving and build a more welcoming, caring and inclusive community for any new catholics. i feel that i have not found the answer to my life yet as i feel that theres a lot of changes i have to make to my life to become a better catholic, not just on sundays. i intend to be more patient and understanding towards people, and always be a listening ear. i want to read the bible every day and try my best to live by it, reflecting and applying the scripture.

3. Jesus created the church for us so that we may not be alone. Church means a community that I can count on and a place where I can go to when I am in need. Jesus gave us the Sacraments to aid us in our going to heaven. It gives us a guideline but we are still given a choice. To me the answer to life right now is to find peace. I want to have peace as it is extremely difficult now as it is a busy life style that we have.
