From a recent study we have been noticing that we will know if organisms have group behavior by how the organisms communicate with each other. Depending on how they communicate you will see the organisms form a group or pack. Just like fish, they swim in what is called a "school' of fish. They do this cause they count on each other and is easier to find predators.

Group behavior is not passed down by genes or anything. It is learned and practiced with multiples of the organism. It is part of interacting with others. It helps different species different ways. Whether its for surviving, mental health, etc. The species do usually have a common goal or interest when they form a group.

It is a very useful surviving technique that comes in handy. Whether its finding prey or becoming prey, each group will help.
