It's a great feeling to put effort into something and see it flourish. Each day I check on my plants and it is always exciting to see a new flower bloom or leaf unfurl. This past summer I grew vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, and beans) for the first time and it was a success! Music keeps me moving. I like listening to movie scores while I'm working and planning lessons (the Harry Potter soundtrack keeps me motivated!), something upbeat to get chores done and exercise, and something soothing to fill the silence when I read. Travelling to see live music is something I try to do a few times a year and I've been missing the opportunity to do so big time this past year!
