Uses or applications of these scanners consist of restorative procedures, which include fabrication of crowns, bridges, and orthodontic liners like Invisalign. And lastly, it touches on the future trends of these scanners such as the potential use of this technology in every dental practice. Does this article support the use of the technology?: </p><p>This article believes it is up to the specific dentist to determine if it is more effective than other dental technology. It talks about oral biofilms, and how it is built of complex communities of microorganisms that form on tooth surfaces and play a vital role in the development of caries. Additionally, it talks about the researchers that developed biofilm models replicating the oral environment's natural conditions, providing a valuable tool for studying the behavior of these microbial communities and evaluating potential anti-caries treatments.</p><p>This article supports the use of technology and says that these tactics have to take into account study objectives, pharmacokinetics, and growth agent, substrate selection, inoculum, and growth medium. </p><p>These vitro oral biofilm models help stimulate complex microbial communities on tooth-like surfaces. This article includes a randomized controlled trial to assess whether PDAs improved the removal of biofilm by professional compared to standard cleaning procedures. </p><p>This article supports the use of disclosing agents/microbial testing and this technology can be defined as colored dyes that are scientifically created to stick to oral biofilm. These dyes temporarily stain the dental biofilm purple making it more visible for dental professionals. </p><p>Advantages of this technology is that it helps aid in the education of the patient, helps reduce biofilm count in the mouth, and helps the dental professional in cleaning off the biofilm.
