1. Woman are equal to men, government is only responsible for protecting people's rights, all people control what happens in government, the only limit of natural rights is men have power, laws dictate what you can('t) do, men and women are equal in government's eyes, property belongs to both, equal consequences.
2. Men being equal to women is significant as they should both be given human/birth-given rights. Also, men and women being able to equally contribute to the law-making side of government (votes) makes the overall opinion more specific (true popular vote).
3. Women equal to men is equal to men is contradictory, as lots of exceptions were made to men (in terms of property ownership, etc.) In court, men had the advantage as they were seen as higher and stronger than women during this time. Also, only men were able to vote, and women could not contribute to law making. Last, it says men and women are equal in court, but women were treated more harsh with even one guilty conviction.

People must maintain their police force, yet the common people are the police force. Not everyone is born equal. Not everyone can afford property and won't be given property.

Summary: The Declaration of Rights of Man goes over the laws and rules that govern all the men that live in France. Important rules and topics mentioned are the preservation of natural rights, the way in which power is used, as well as what is beneficial to society. The declaration goes in-depth on how our life, liberty, and property is used following the end of the French Revolution. Not only the way in how our life is preserved, and how we can preserve the life pf others as well. The declaration acts as an indisputable guideline that models to how our citizens can be beneficial to the society, such as the article that no one can be enforced by what is not law.
Importance: The importance of this declaration is that it solves the problems of the people prior to the revolution, such as the people in higher power can have more opportunities in contrast of their lower counterparts. Things such as the preservation of natural laws are extremely important because it is what leads to a functional society. The society prior to the revolution was unreliable because only a very small fraction of the population was in control of the laws and their enforcement. This was important because this is what caused France to become a true democracy where everyone can have their own vote.
Limitations: The limitations of this declaration is that it only shows the rights of man. However, it does not show the rights of women, and it shows that there is no balance between the rights of man and women. There is also no rights mentioned for people like slaves and people lower.
