Haiying holds a Master Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and she is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA). Regarding her research interests, she just attended an academic meeting organized by University of Nottingham and her research topic is Integrating Critical Thinking into EAP. 

 

She is a mom to two kids, an 12-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. In her spare time, taking care of two kids occupies her time most. Also, she is a Yoga amateur. If you have the same interest, welcome to share your story with her.

 

Jinming Zhang participated in the National College Students' innovation and entrepreneurship training program and won the national project, and he conducted a research on Land Use Change based on RS and GIS and Urban Heat Island Effect which is published in Chinese Science and Technology Journals Database (full-text version) engineering technology.

 

He has a wide range of interests. In his spare time, he always likes to try something new.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and technology. During his undergraduate studies, he actively participated in various computer-related competitions, like CCPC (China Collegiate Programming  Competition). where he showcased his ability to think critically and devise innovative solutions within limited time constraints. 

In his free time from studying, Xia Xin Zhe enjoys going for walks or bike rides with his friends. He also finds relaxation and entertainment in activities such as listening to music and watching movies. 

Since Jun of 2022, Olivia has been employed by the Jinneng Holding Group, a Fortune 500 energy company in the world, as an accountant. Her day job is to assist with the preparation of group’s important financial statements, prepare and report monthly financial reports for eight affiliated companies, summarize and submit monthly coal business cost analysis reports and calculate and analyze key business and financial indicators. She loves her job very much because she says she gained valuable practical experience from it. 

Olivia majored in accounting when she was an undergraduate. At that time, She was awarded  2020 National Scholarship for Merit College Students. What’s more, her tutor guided her complete a very valuable thesis on the topic of research on Collaborative Model of Enterprise Financial Management Information Technology. In September this year, she decided to pursue a graduate degree in entrepreneurship and innovation. She expects to gain more professional knowledge, so as to improve her professional skills and have a better career development.

In life, Olivia greatest hobbies are enjoying floral decoration and reading geography magazines. Simply put, she loves everything beauteous. However, she is also a person who keen on desserts, but does not love exercise. She was often anxious about her weight, which had recently reached a peak, so she planned to take action to change herself. 

 

Xiaoxi Yu hold a bachelor’s degree from Harbin Normal University. She majored in Chinese language and literature for four years, developing a huge interest in academics. She has a horizon of art history and theory, has a knowledge of Chinese contemporary literature, and was devoted to film studies and cultural studies before. In the next few years, she wants to concentrate on film-gender studies and the relevant academic area in her following academic life.

 

Xiaoxi Yu is fond of watching movies. Miyazaki Hayao, Woody Allen, and Zhangke Jia are her favorite directors. She also likes drawing in her spare time. She loves listening to music and reading books when lying or sitting on the bench outdoors. And she loves cats deeply.
