I believe that Social Media (especially Tik Tok) can be addicting. I notice it myself when I get on. I say I'll watch for 5 minutes and then an hour later, I'm still watching.

I think social media is addicting because I feel like kids are hardly outside anymore they prefer staying inside playing games and just doing nothing rather than being a normal kid.

Yes, social media is made to occupy the mind for as long as the mind needs to be occupied using entertaining media. a person who finds fun in this media will come back to it, causing such material to be addicting. I do believe that social media is addicting as the short video genre has been popping up on all platforms. Most people who watch any type of short form video have a tendency to watch something for about 15 seconds before moving on.

Social media is very addictive. I have tried to stop using social media several times but I ended up not talking to my friends anymore because nobody uses their phone number when they have social media. They make their apps in a way that it's better than just texting. You can send pictures, post on a story, watch videos, and much more. It's a more simple way to do things and it makes it addictive by adding things like streaks, how many people will subscribe to you, how many views you get.
