-Norton is another one of John and Lorraine's friend and he is known as the marshmallow kid because he was caught stealing marshmallows from a store, and he is a social outcast. He was also put in the news paper for stealing the marshmallows.

John talks about how he hates school and all the mischievous things he has done in the past. He also says he has stooped doing those "kids things" since he is now a sophomore.
Chapter 2 - Lorraine is very sad when she moves into town because she has no friend but then she meets John and they will soon become very good friends. By Luke

Chapter 3 - Lorraine and John together have been doing this challenge called "the telephone marathon". This challenge is to keep some random person on the phone for as long as they could last. For example, Dennis holds the record for the longest time on the phone two hours and twenty-six minutes. By Luke Aviles
