During a storm, the ship capsizes and Gulliver is swept to the island of Lilliput. When he wakes up, he is completely tied up and tiny little men shoot him with tiny arrows. The next morning, the island's emperor visits Gulliver and has several food carts brought to him. Gulliver learns the local language and receives food daily, although his voracious appetite causes the population to fear a famine.

The second journey: Brobdingnag

They pick it up in the air and hand it over to the farmer, who takes it home and, on the family table, throws some breadcrumbs. But the worst of the dangers is experienced in the giant peasant's bed where he takes his naps: two rats bigger than a mastiff fight over him, until Gulliver manages to stab them with his dagger.

The third journey: Laputa

Laputans use geometric concepts to describe objects. They can do complex calculations on paper, but in practical life they are completely helpless. The Fourth Journey: Meeting the Houyhnhnms and the Yahoos

Just five months later, Gulliver sets sail again, only this time, he is the captain of the ship. But he is unlucky: the crew mutinies and leaves him stranded on an island. When he manages to move inward, he meets apelike, foolish and rude humans. It is about the Yahoos, who are quick to attack him.

The houyhnhnm in front of the one they carry him asks where he comes from, and cannot believe that animals of Gulliver's appearance can build ships and cross the seas. The Yahoos are servants of the Houyhnhnms; perform the heaviest tasks and pull carts. The people of the island do not understand Gulliver's clothes either: why does he wear a fake fur? And how can it be that, in their land, the Yahoos are the masters and the Houyhnhnms the servants?
