This is my favorite movie, in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, packed full of action throughout the nearly 4 and a half hour run time. It wraps up the trilogy very well, and is nearly identical to the story of the last book.
-The Longest Day
This movie takes place before, during, and after the D-Day invasion of Normandy France. I enjoy how this movie plays out, showing the perspectives of people living in the surrounding towns, Nazi officers, British paratroopers, and American infantry.
-Full Metal Jacket
This classic Vietnam movie was released 12 years after the war ended. I wouldn't change the scenes too much, simply the order of the scenes. It was confusing to see all these different scenes in the order they were.
