         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first american mill was made by Moses Brown but the machinery was always breaking down which led the mill to be unsuccessful at first. This changed society because after people saw the eventual success of Moses's mill they started using his ideas and mills became more common. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Interchangeable parts were created by Eli Whitney to solve the problem that because each musket was made by hand, they were all slightly different and when part of a musket broke they would have to make a new part by hand to fit that specific musket. This changed society because now it would take less time to create replacement parts.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1800 the amount of people that lived in urban areas was only 6% of the us population. By 1850 that amount increased even more to 15%. This changed society because the amount of people living on farms and in rural areas decreased slowly.</div>]]></description>

The buildings included shared bedrooms and a kitchen that served meals. This changed society by making it more likely for parents to send there daughters to the mills.</div>]]></description>
