The students will create a Google Slides presentation focusing on what the invention is, how they would make it and include a picture of what they think it would look like.<br><br>3. After they have researched these two women, they will create a poster board that reflects their lives such as where they grew up (where segregation was taking place), the conflicts they went through, and how they overcame them.&nbsp;<br><br>3. Once they have finished their poster board reflecting these women's lives, the students will share them with the class.&nbsp;<br><br>4. As a reflection of this project, the students will write one fact that really stood out to them about the woman they researched.</div>]]></description>

They are going to choose the book that they want to focus on.<br><br>2. Once the students have chosen their book, they are going to list traits and feelings of how each character felt in the beginning of the story. Then, the students will list traits and feelings of how the character felt at the end of the story after they had that one person to push them to continue (Persevere).<br><br>3. I will provide worksheets of each of the characters from the stories and they will begin to write these traits and feelings surrounding the character (both from the beginning and end of the story).<br><br>4. The students will share their drawings, traits and feelings to the class.</div>]]></description>
