I think it's option 1 because the interest is 5% for 5 years so it has less time and the interest is less while option 2 i will get 2,000,000 i don't want to have 2,000,000 because i already have 250,000 i need only 1,750,000 .

Among the three options, I think option 2 is the best since it is a one-time payment of 25% so the engineers can take the 2,000,000 and build the bridge
and then use the 250,000 to pay back the loan over the 7 years with
saving and collecting money using suitable techniques.

In my opinion I think that option two would fit better among all, where the bank would provide the whole AED 2,000,000 as a one time payment of 25%, which means that they can pay the bank the AED 250,000 they have as the first time payment, and then, they could find new ways to collect they rest of the money, with a time of 7 years, which is very possible to be done before that time ends.

Ans. the third option.
option 1 requires: paying 5% in 5 years.
option 2 requires: paying 25% in 7 years.
option 3 requires: paying 4%(compound interest) in 10 years.
           option 3 is the cheapest
paying 4%(compound interest) in 10 years is better than paying 5%(simple interest) in 5 years.
which will not be option 1.
and its not option 2 because paying 25% is much more than 5% or 4%(compound interest).
not sure though

for option 1, you would have to pay after five years a total of 2,187,500 while only getting the 1, 750,000. which automatically makes you lose the 250,000 and you won’t benefit much from using it since you would have to pay 437,500 each year which is a lot considering that they won’t even give you the full 2 million. not to mention that the bank will get the 1,750,000 plus a bonus of 437,500 which isn’t the best option to choose. for example, it would be a big difference if the bank gives you 1 million and you give them back 2 million.

for option 3, they won’t give you the full million and at the end, you would have to pay a total amount of 2, 590,427.499 in 10 years. and a yearly amount of 259,042.7499. which isn’t necessarily a bad option but, compared to option 2 it is not the best. since in option 2 you will be getting the 2 million and you will only have to return it plus the 500,000 which you can already pay half of it using your 250,000. we could say that options 3 and 2 are similar since you will pay almost the same amounts yearly and in total. but, for option 3 they won’t give you 2 million while in option 2 they will. and the bonus that the bank will get in option 2 (500,000) is much lesser compared to the one in option 3 (840,427.499)

I think option 3 but I'm not sure because I didn't solve option 2. Also option 3 look easier like he can barrow 1750000 with 4% (compound interest) and he can pay it off in 10 years and this is enough time, in addition compound interest is better since it allows funds to grow at a faster rate than they would in an account with a simple interest rate.
But I'm not sure about my answer and I have to check option 2

In my opinion, option 2 is the best because the yearly payment excluding the interest is not far from what they already have and can afford since it’s ≈285,714. In addition, the one payment interest which is 500,000 can be paid anytime during the 7 years which is an advantage, since they will have enough time to gain the money. Not to forget, they need “Around 2 millions” which means it’s not exactly 2 millions it might be more or less and since it’s the only option that gives us more money and and not just the money needed to reach exactly 2 million makes it the correct answer. To explain further more, example one makes them pay more in a less period of time, considering from what they had from the start it doesn’t look like they will be able to afford 437,500 yearly including the interest. Moreover, if we compare option 3 to option one we would realize that option one is better considering that the total will be lesser even though option 3 takes up more time. So, if option two is better than one then it’s definitely better than the third option too. In conclusion, option 2 is definitely a smarter and logical deal.
