Its volcanoes with snowy peaks, glaciers, lakes and forests are emblematic. To the north we find the active volcano Nevado del Ruiz. To the south is Lago Verde, with emerald waters, Lake Otún, where trout abound, and Nevado del Tolima, with its characteristic white top. Hummingbirds, eagles, parrots and condors inhabit the park, and among its flora stand out the tall wax palm trees and frailejones plants.</div>]]></description>
