There are clear arguments for both embracing technologies, and for retaining more traditional learning sources in schools. Deborah and Robert (2012) argued that 95% of students take their phones into the classroom every day and 92% of students use their mobile phones to text during class. The Canadian Council of Learning (UNDATED) also argues that dishonesty has become a problem in recent years, and they found more students use mobile phones to cheat. Furthermore, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (2018) highlighted that the rise in reported malpractice is primarily associated with candidates taking mobile phones, or other web-enabled devices like smartwatches, into examination halls. Although most of them cost money, there still has variable chooses of free educational apps. Teachers have access educational apps for planning lessons and setting homework. Those apps are valuable for studies if  there lacks school budget (Mendelsohn ,2012) Positive impact of technology based learning on students could be shown in a case study of PBS Kids’ partnership with the US Department of Education,  which argued that the vocabulary of students aged 3 to 7 years old who use its Martha Speaks mobile app improved up to 31% and math students who used the iOS app “Statistics 1” shows  improvement in their final grades. Moreover, students tend to finish task on mobile devices rather than traditional paper media.(Matthew ,2015) Moreover, tablets also helpful in preparation of students’ future life. For instances, the students who learn computer skill  could benefit from it in their career since research from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (2012) points out the fastest growing and highest paying jobs in the United States are technology-based. Meanwhile, it is predicted that the employment in computer industry could grow up 18% in 2020.  However, the access of tablets and e-reader in the class room is believed can bring a serious of adverse effects. Advocaters of the use of tables and e-readers, such as Urs Gasseer and John Palfrey(2009), states that  using such mordern technologies in the classroom can have impact on students' concentration and efficiency of learning. As there are to many distractions for example, games, texts, apps on tables. This study is widely agreed by high school teachers that thses mordern technologies has shaped a generation with inability to concentrate. Further more, Faiza Elmasry's(2016) study suggested that tables and e-books can be used by students as a way of cheat in order to achieve higher grades. In reality, such portable technology penetration rate among teenagers has exceeded 98%, meaning that more students are likely to use tables to cheat. On the one hand, sharing and acquiring information through internet has became one of the most convenient ways for both students and teachers in doing research, due to the ease of access on a wide variety of resources (Richard, 2009; cited from Arkorful et al, 2015). On the other hand, the Internet provides a place for institutions in information delivery, to increase the flexibility on time and place when students are facing an assortment of problems (Holmes, 2006; cited from Arkorful, 2015). 
However, it is argued that the lack of interaction involved in e-learning among students and instructors might increase the risk in completing assessments (Neumann, 1998). Despite of that, the temptation in Internet influence students behaviours, which requires a very strong motivation and time management skills to reduce this effect (Arkorful et al, 2015).
