The graph is line graph. It shows the percentage of women in different STEM fields from 1990 to 2016. The main idea is to see how the number of women changed in science, technology, engineering and math. The graphs shows that health-related jobs had the most women over %70. Computer and engineering had the lowest women, but the numbers went up a little. In life science and math, the number of women slowly increased. In conclusion, the number of women in STEM field is growing, but some areas still have fewer women than others

İldeniz Dömbekçioğlu

The graph shows how the percentage of women in STEM fields has changed between 1990 and 2016. The graph illustrates that the number of women in STEM fields has increased. According o the graph, about 70% is the percentage of women are health-related fields. On the other hand, the percentage of women in engineering is close to just 10%. Other fields like math, life sciences, physical sciences, and computer science are in the middle, with women making up a smaller percentage. Overall, the number of women is still increasing but some areas like healthcare includes more women than man.

Emirhan

The graph shows the change in job demands in STEM fields from 1990 to 2016. The graph includes the percentages that have increased or decreased over the years. According to the graph, only two job fields are showing a decrease. Between these years, job demand in mathematics decreased by 24%, while physical sciences decreased by 46%, making them the field with the largest job demand decline. On the other hand, computer has become the most demanded job field over the years, with a 388% increase, then, health-related 92%, life sciences 70%, and engineering 16%. It is clear that there is an increase in most of the job fields.

Nisa

According to the graph, there are four fields showing increase and two fields showing a decrease. Computer field has increased by nearly 338% since 1990. Health-related jobs rose by 92%. Life -science feilds increased by nearly 70%. Engineering field increased less than other fields by 16%. Apart from that, the number of jobs in math field decreased by 24%.Also, physical science decreased more than math field by 46%. It is clear that there are both increases and decreases in job fields.

Sıla

The second graph shows the change in the number of STEM jobs from 1990 to 2016. According to the graph, the number of jobs in STEM fields increased over the time. Computer jobs had the biggest growth, increasing by 338%. Health-related jobs also grew a lot, by 92%. Life science jobs went up by 70%, and engineering jobs grew by 16%. However, math jobs dropped by 24%, and physical science jobs dropped the most, by 46%. This means that not all STEM fields had job growth. Some became smaller over time.

Yagmur

The graph shows the percentage of women in different STEM fields from 1990 to 2016. According to the graph, the number of women in STEM fields has been mostly stable, except one field. Health-related fields have the highest number of women, and the numbers have increased over time. For example, in health-related fields, women stayed above 70%. In life science, the percentage starte to increase over time. On the other hand, fields like computer science and engineering have low numbers. In computer science, the percentage of women dropped from 30% to about 25%, and in engineering, it stayed around 15%. In conclusion, some STEM fields have more women now, but others still have fewer.

Betül

The graph titled “Percentage of Women in STEM Fields” shows the change in the number of women working in different STEM areas from 1990 to 2016. It is a line graph and includes six categories: health-related, math, life science, physical science, computer, and engineering. The graph shows that the percentage of women in health-related fields was the highest throughout the period, while engineering had the lowest. Over time, the number of women increased in most fields, especially in life sciences and math. However, the percentage of women in computer fields decreased. This graph helps us understand how female participation in STEM has changed over the years and which fields have seen the most progress.

In the graph, we see that the health-related continues to increase without decreasing, in comparison to the other six jobs. The health-related is not the only job that has increased. Life science, physical science and engeenering has also increased. For the last two jobs, math is stable and computer is decreasing. Overall, even though there is some increase, the number of women in STEM fields is still below 50%.

Kerem Şen

The Change in Numbers of STEM JOBS Over The Years

The bar graph indicates popularity of different STEM jobs between the years of 1990 and 2016. If we look at the graph we can see that computer field has sharply increased with the percentage of 338. While there are growth in other fields it’s not as much as computer field. Following computer field is health-related fields. This said fields have shown popularity with 92%. In the third place is life-science with 70%. And at the last place we have engineering with the percentage of 16. Although this may seem low to some eyes but growth is growth. Many of the fields had increased over the years, however there are two fields in the graph that is mentioned has decreased and perhaps lost its value over the years. The first field that decreased over the years is math. This field has decreased with the percentage of -24. The second field is physical science. Physical science has decreased -46% which makes this field the leader when it comes to growth-lost. This changes over the years may be caused by developments in the technology.

Serra
