= Being a caregiver play was an important role in the society and companionships to the induvial who were needed especially having a disabled family member or a child with a special need can face numerous challenges that can we felt overwhelming. If we were feeling overwhelming, we need support from other people or periodizing our-self such as doing some activities or take a regular break. According to National Library of Medicine, "some caregivers found it difficult to balance work and care with their personal lives" and "experience feelings of anxiety and guilt if they were not around to give care and were then unable to enjoy their idle time" (Vos et al., 2021). By having a support from others or nurses or prioritizing self-care, it can ensure of well in both of them and our loved ones.

As a caregiver, you have numerous responsibilities, including managing work tasks and priorities while also juggling someone else's needs. Good organizational skills are crucial for creating more time in your day and managing responsibilities effectively. Use tools like notebooks or online calendars to keep important information in one place and prioritize responsibilities.Identify areas of stress and brainstorm small steps to improve organization. If you're working from home, be aware of the importance of staying focused. Being honest and assertive about your situation can help you meet your boss's expectations and ensure that you can handle the workload.Create a contingency plan, either for your own situation or for your own contingency plan. Conduct a What If? analysis for your unique situation and create a backup plan in case of an emergency. Reach out to family, friends, or colleagues to find solutions before an unexpected event occurs.Take time for yourself, as your time is your most precious resource. Set aside time for rest, relaxation, exercise, and hobbies to manage stress and maintain physical and mental energy. Keep yourself healthy and happy by setting long-term goals for yourself, both for work and personal aspirations.Set long-term personal goals for yourself, both for work and personal aspirations, to keep you motivated and moving forward. Ask for support from others who may be in similar situations, as there's a high chance that someone you know is in a similar situation.(How to Juggle Caregiving Responsibilities and Work,n.d).Providing caregivers with the same recognition and support as nurses may involve creating policies that acknowledge their contributions, offering financial assistance or compensation for caregiving duties, and ensuring access to healthcare services and community support networks. By valuing and supporting caregivers, healthcare systems can better meet the needs of patients and their families, ultimately improving overall quality of care.(Ines Mouchaers,2023)

Nurses are different from caregivers where nurses have formal health knowledge, training, and experience. Nursing knowledge, including an awareness of health, is acknowledged by Ward-Griffin (2004) and Mills and Aubeeluck (2006). Organizations are useful for caring for family members. Despite having prior experience working with and tending to patients.(Julie A. Hansen, 2016)While both carers and nurses recognise the need of good relationships in providing care, they have different ideas about what constitutes a successful relationship-building strategy. Carers see knowledge and explanation as essential elements of successful partnerships, while nurses prioritise clinical information as distinct from emotional and psychological assistance. Carers view exchanges where nurses offer their explanations and thought processes as the most beneficial and rewarding, and they do not distinguish between practical and emotional help. Carers like nurses' clear explanations of procedures and information, which emphasises the significance of good communication in fostering connections between carers, nurses, and the hospice team.

Firstly, about the importance of balancing responsibilities. How can a caregiver provide services and at the same time, take care of their own families and taking care of themselves? In my opinion is a matter of time management, as a caregiver, you can choose to work under shift hours and leave the rest of the time bonding with your family.

Secondly, caregivers are also requiring receiving education and certificates to be able to pursue this job so yes they should be given recognition, as they worked day and night to take care of a person which can honestly be physically and mentally exhausting. Sometimes a caregiver builds stronger relationships with the patients rather than the family themselves because the caregivers are there to support the patients emotionally and physically. In some countries, the caregivers are given recognition for example in Finland, the story of Jong Odarve, a 33-year-old caregiver originally from the Philippines who has been working at the Munksnäshemmet nursing home for seven years. Odarve was recently awarded a scholarship for his outstanding work in caring for the elderly, particularly those with dementia. The criteria for the scholarship were someone who represents good care, lifts the profession, is a good representative of elderly care, and gives hope for the future. The scholarship that Odarve received was awarded by the Brummerska Hemmet Foundation and the Association of Private Swedish Retirement Homes (Gero) for his work at the Munksnäshemmet. Odarve’s dedication and hard work have been recognized by his peers, and he is a shining example of the high standard of care that is provided in Finland’s healthcare system. (Silk Road Workforce Management, n.d.). Recognitions like this boost the caregivers' passion even more making this career a more noticeable job.

Caregivers are crucial in supporting their loved ones' well-being, but they must also prioritize their own health. By implementing self-care strategies, seeking support, setting realistic expectations, and practicing boundaries, caregivers can balance their responsibilities with challenges, enhancing their own and their loved ones' well-being. (Unlocking the Secrets of Caregivers Self-Care 101: A Comprehensive Guide, n.d.) And yes, Caregivers should receive recognition and support similar to nurses, as they provide essential assistance, emotional support, companionship, and advocacy for their loved ones, contributing to their overall well-being.

They can balance the responsibilities and challenges by prioritizing tasks, seeking support from other caregivers and professional resources, and practicing self care. It is also important for healthcare caregivers to recognize their own needs and ensure that they are taking steps to maintain their own health and well being.

Yes , caregivers should received the same recognition and support as nurses because they similarly perform the same duties as caregivers and integral to patients well being. They provide emotional support, assist with daily living activities, and monitor health conditions. Despite these responsibilities, caregivers are often overlooked and underappreciated. Recognizing and supporting caregivers as essential members of the healthcare team can improve patient outcomes and caregiver well-being. According to ScienceDirect, it was determined that the caregiver burden was associated with sociodemographic and numerous psychosocial factors of the patient as well as the caregiver (Kubra Yeni, April 2024).

As a caregiver, there is lot of thing to do and remember. Balancing the important responsibilities of caregiving with the challenges that come along with it can be tough, but there are strategies that can help. Be open and honest with your employer this can help balancing work-life balance. if you are caring for a loved one its inevitably going to impact your career. caregiver also need to look after themselves so try to get organized, to do list is likely most helpful in taking the important dates and chores (HSWO.org, March 18, 2020). In my opinion, caregivers also same as the nurses so they deserved getting the recognition and support as nurses. This is because they frequently put in a great deal of overtime and work in the background without being noticed by others or public (Fastercapital, February 01, 2024).
