This video is important for people who are looking to do the very minimum of budgeting. People always assume budgeting takes a lot of work, but in reality it can be very simple. The first simple method it explains is "pay yourself first", where you save your money first and then pay your expenses. Another method is the 80/10/10 rule, where 80% of your income goes to living expenses, 10% into savings, and then another 10% into paying off any debt.

This video is more toward the type of people who will be very serious and organized about budgeting, such as people with families and must budget to be able to get by with ease. First is planning out and keeping track of all your bills that you owe, this will allow you to always be aware of how much you are owing. Next is budgeting in an excel sheet, writing down the net income each month and breaking down into categories what you can and can't spend.

This video explains further into the importance of why people should budget and how our every day financial choices will effect us in the long run. Budgeting is a commitment, but it will prevent you from ever saying again "where did all my money go?" You are well aware of where your money is going, and are able to slowly save for the things you will need in the future. (Long term and short term).

This website is basically teaching people how to set up a monthly budget for several reasons; help pay bills on time, cover unexpected emergencies, and reach future goals. First, you must add up your income for the month. It is extremely important to use your net pay and not your gross. (Net pay is after the tax deductions) Second, estimate expenses. (Fixed and variable) After subtracting the two, you will see how much money you actually have each month. Afterwards, this should be separated into many different categories of what you can spend in each.

This website goes into more detail of why budgeting is important for the future, and how it is important to be aware of your budgets in the near future so you don't fall into any debt. This is called budget forecasting, similar to how the weather shows that it's going to rain tomorrow, which means you'll bring an umbrella outside. You are aware of the future, and will act accordingly. Long-term budgeting is important for those expensive items that need time to save up for. (A house, a car, retirement)

This website is for the people who don't necessarily want to take that much time planning out their budgets. There are different types of budgeting. The first one is the most common, the monthly budget. Figure out how much you make in a month and split it between categories. The next is Bi-weekly, by taking half of both paycheques and using them for mortgage or rent, while the other half is toward expenses, and other things. This is more for the less concerned people. The last one is weekly, casually recording how much is spent each week, and being aware of where the money is going.
