They are still relevant as bands and singers continue to bring out a range of music videos every year with a variety of themes and styles. 

VEVO and other systems are in place so that a lot  video have no other versions except the official video. 
YouTube and Spotify are some of the major music platforms, but YouTube displays videos however Spotify displays the audio of the music video usually. 

Songs like Sorry by Justin Bieber had 1,963,518,742 views by December 1st 2016 when it was brought out in 2015 . Analysing the brief gave us the detail we needed about the restrictions on music era and the deadline of the project. We are able to use music from the 60s,70s,80s and 90s, this gives us a range of songs.
