It served as an old-age home, we were shown the situations of aged people living in the old age home. Many were rescued by the police or dropped off by their own children. Most of them were above the age of 65. They were all suffering from various serious illnesses or diseases. The old age home was taking good care of them, most enjoyed living there compared to their previous locations. I think the fact that people were dropping off their own parents or forcing them to be rescued into an old age home is miserable however they were being taken good care of and were enjoying the company. It was a wholesome experience seeing them living in better conditions. The field trip was very informative

Us children, underrate their love sometimes. But, we can give them as much love. But, some are selfish enough to take and never give. A parent only wants love and obedience from their children and they can reach to a certain extent of anger when their terms are not at par but so happens with us too. We should be understading and be glad of what they've given us. And with time, even they would understand our terms and there's noone as cooperative as them. 
That doesn't mean that us children would abandon our responsibility and send our parents away from us when they need to be with us the most. 
Old age homes are occupied by these parents or maybe just parents who don't have any other way, any other support. 
They reach there disappointed but, are happy after that.

There was a lady who was tortured by her brother when he got the property papers. I felt a momentary anger for her brother and same time, I felt nice that she is happy.

Today we were shown a video about a visit to an Old Age Home, with various images and small clips about the elders explaining their before lives and after they were rescued or escorted to the old age home, and we got to learn that some elders had paralysis, some were left by their children..
The age of the elders begin from 65 above , and that they were happy after being escorted here, because they were being taken care of, which was important to them.
I learnt that having millions of money, it's not important, but Care and love is important too.
They do remember their old days, they have a 'Tea Time', where it's like recreation time for them, so they can remember their olden gold times, we also learned from an old lady, that she belonged to a royal family, and many more things, there was a 100 year old lady, who was a teacher, and shared her experience. 
old age homes provide elders protection, and the feeling of being loved.

The video was all about to know  how the staff took care of the Old people living there. 

The video was about the feelings and lives if the old people.
 The Many of the people living there were having many problems like Alzheimer, Dementia, Paralysis and etc. 
Some of the old people needed full time care, some needed partial care and some took care of themselves.
Most people living there were above the age of 65. 
Some were left there by there children who didn’t care about them anymore.. They don’t value the hardwork of their parents, who worked so hard to give them such a beautiful and easy life.. but now they are not repaying them properly and are kind of abandoning their parents. 
Each of the old person was having an individual room with attached bathroom. 
At tea time, the elders sing songs filled with nostalgia and basically have fun ..
In conclusion to my response, I would say that I feel terrible for the people because they were abandoned by their children and were separated from them.. But at the same time I also feel good for the old people  because they are having the time of their lives.. They have lived their First innings of life in hardwork and making money for their family. Now they are living  Second innings of their lives happily among their friends who are more like family ..
The OLD AGE HOME is doing an amazing job helping these people otherwise the old people would not have survived. I hope GOD gives them happiness and more money and facilities to help the old people like this place is doing .

The old grandmas in the old age home were really interested in sharing their feelings , though some of them were betrayed and had no relatives they seemed very happy with how they were cared  there and I seeing the video felt that the staff cared a lot about them and also they all had created a bond between them.

They are taken good care by the people working for them. 
The memories shared by them to each other will make them happy in this stage. 
I liked the thing that all of them still remember many old songs and sing in front of others making it more interesting to know about them.

It is sad that such tyrannical people exist.One aunty was 99 years old and always thought that she would die the next day.She spoke English very well.She wanted to grow famous before she was dead.There was another aunt from Kerala who was 78 years old and knew general knowledge very well.It felt so good to see them smile and laugh and chat.At tea time they would use to sit and chat together remembering bygones.I enjoyed every bit of the video.I too want to grow up and help these lone warriors.

I find them extremely cute, sweet and very kind. So this virtual visit to the old age home was like a haven of sweet loving souls. I felt so good and happy on seeing them because even at their age, all of them are perpetually laughing and joking around. That truly warmed my heart. I will elaborate on the details now. It was an old age home for senior citizens named John's Home and it is situated in Ayanagar, Delhi. It is a four storey tall building and is very spacious. Each individual staying there is above 65 years and have individual rooms for themselves with an attached bathroom. My heart went out to some of them as most of them suffer from dementia, paralysis, Alzheimer, etc. Most of the old grannies were up for talking. One granny was 78 year old and was from Kerela. According to her, she belonged to a royal family and was the grand daughter of Uma Maharani and used to be the Deputy Highness in Sri Valsom Palace in Mavelikkara. She had come to Delhi for a knee surgery and had ended up staying there in the old age home. Then there was a 65 year old aunty whose brother had mistreated her and she suffered from Paralysis on one side of her body. She loved staying at the old age home and found it very comfortable. Then there was a 99 year old aunty. She loved talking a lot. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand much of what she was saying. But I still found myself smiling because she seemed so content. She was constantly cracking jokes and saying how she wants to become famous before she dies. I fell in love with her. She was a teacher before and she still retained some of those teacher like patronising qualities. Then there was a clip of tea time at the old age home which was a time meant for recreation. They sang songs and played carrom. It was a beautiful sight.
