Help them understand how math is important in our world. </p><p>There would be an exciting buzz in the room.   Kids would be talking in groups ,a variety of math manipulatives would be out.  Children would be explaining their answer to other children and there might be respectful disagreement in the room or kids saying, "That is the way I solved it too. "  or "I never thought of doing it this way."  </p>]]></description>
