First and foremost, offline rules apply online. Therefore, don’t say or do anything online that you wouldn’t do in person and to someone’s face.

Second, try to post with context. Sharing something without context in real life might look like running into a room, saying a random sentence, and then walking away. Therefore, when you have a link or a piece of news that you feel fits into this space, please take a little time to add some context to it. What does this link make you think or feel? Does it raise a question for discussion? Does it just make you happy? Will others find it useful, and who in particular?

Third, ask for consent before sharing private conversations in public. If you want to share a screenshot of one’s conversation or a picture taken during the zoom meeting, it is perfectly fine, however, it is important to ask for the permission of people appearing in the image first.
