We had difficulties managing our money. We were required to manage our budget and also to buy the correct items to ensure that we can keep the ice cream cold / frozen for some time.

We had difficulties deciding deciding what type of materials to buy. Because with every material chosen, we had to explain why we used the material.

The difficulties faced are insufficient time making and designing the cooler.we are also unsure if adding water into the cotton wool would slow down the process of melting the ice cream. i think if we added more cotton and aluminium foil...the ice cream would have sustained for a longer period of time. if we had ice,the rersult of the cooler will also be better as the ice could keep the ice cream cool for a longer period of time.

We had difficulties in choosing what material to choose. Some of us thought that cotton wool is a poorer absorber and emitter of radiation while the rest thought that the aluminium foil would keep the cooler cool for a longer time. We discussed and support our stand/opinions by giving reasons about why we have different opinions and eventually we came to a point when we all agreed to choose both cotton wool and aluminium foil.

We should have not put water to wet the wool. The water was not cold and hence it makes the temperature in the beaker warmer and thus it melts ice.

I learnt that we should have kept the cotton wool dry and should not put water to the cotton wool as the temperature increased. I also learnt that we should have used the aluminium foil more than cotton wool.
