Tina went to college for a Bachelor in Science for Interior Design at North Dakota State University. In her senior year, she worked with a residential designer, which she said "was great experience" for her. "I enjoyed mostly working on floor plans and didn’t strive at color and fabric selection."
After Tina graduated, she said she went into commercial furniture (office cubicles, seating and such). She also worked at an architecture firm, where she said, "I gained a lot of experience in construction project management, architectural drawings and building bid processes." She also worked on a great project there for Jamestown College Physical Therapy program designing the interior of their new building and also sold them their furniture.

Tina enjoys running, and even ran 1 full and 3 half marathons, and just working out in general. She likes to read and says she has even since she was a kid reading. She also has a rental property business called My Iowa Property so that takes up time as she and her husband are currently remodeling two units. And finally, they have a quarter horse that they take to quarter horse shows. Little fact I was told from Tina, this enable them to travel. For example, they were in Cloverdale Indiana one week and their next place will be Willimington Ohio.

Tina Ebnet went to BS of Interior Design at NDSU which is an accredited university. I was told by Tina Ebnet that this means "they go through bi-annual reviews to ensure the program meets national standards for the curriculum and the outcomes." In her words, "This is not a fun lighthearted program as many expect. Throughout my freshman year, 40 of the 60 students dropped out. Projects are a intense several week long progcess with very little sleep and all nighters in the studio," and, "You do make some good friends when you are losing it at 3am trying to finish the project that is due in a couple hours."

When I asked Tina for what's the best piece of life advice she would give to someone my age, she responded with, "We all make mistakes; they are unavoidable and painful but a necessary part of life. Take ownership for your role in a mistake to learn from it. Never try to pass off your mistake as someone else’s. Doing so will not cover-up the issue since the truth always comes to light. Supporting the people around you will ultimately benefit you the most, don’t tear those people down. Be firm but understanding."
