I started the lesson by doing vocabulary revision using WordWall website game. Students were very excited. Later I used Doritos strategy in which I asked each group to take one or two paper chips and answered the questions in groups after reading the text. Later on, we did a listening activity in which I asked the students to guess the answers before playing the track. The lesson was well-prepared and we finished everything in time!

I implemented vocabulary lesson in grade 9, the class began by displaying a PowerPoint on the screen to introduce the students to the writing techniques used by the writers and the meaning of each technique with an example Then, I asked each group to choose a secret word from the box and look up its meaning in the dictionary, writing its synonym and an example with an illustration drawing of the word’s meaning.Finally, we discussed each word, analyzed and corrected the mistakes. Also, we choose the winner group that completed all the steps in a short time without any mistakes . It was a very enjoyable and useful lesson.

On 13/ November me and my colleagues who are in the same specialty attended an excellent model lessons in one of the state’s schools. First lesson was about writing in Grade 5 and the second lesson was about vocabulary in Grade 4 . I really enjoyed and learned many things from these two lessons. At the end, I attended a workshop which was about how to use the techniques in classroom with different skills. It was an interesting and informative experience.

I presented this lesson which was about writing an email in Grade 5 on 20th of Nov. I used burger strategy to describe how to write the email. Then, the Ss order each statement in a correct place in the burger structure. Afer that, one student of each group reads their letter. Finally, we discuss and write the letter on the board by using burger strategy. It was a wonderful way that Ss liked it to study an email writing.
