F Song by Strawberry Guy is one of my favorite songs ever, and is almost always my first answer when asked what my favorite song is. It gives off more of a sad vibe but is nonetheless a great song to play no matter the mood. I picked this as my first answer because whenever I have seen videos or different edited versions of it, it invokes a very strong feeling that I rarely experience, especially from music alone.

Resonance by Home is another one of my favorite songs. I think the artist picked the most perfect name for a song like this. The song itself is so versatile, being able to used in so many different mashups with so many different genres. My all time favorite Resonance mashup is “Do ya like x Resonance” made by Marcella. I like to play this song on long car rides closer to sunrise or sunset, when the sky turns more red-ish purple.

Metamorphosis by Interworld is a song that represents a very important part of my life, my 2022-2023 school year which was my Freshman year. During this time is when I had started going to Ridge View, but since I wasn't actually zoned for it almost all of my friends from Blythewood Middle school didn't go there. I had to basically start over and make new friends and form new relationships. It was also the year I started to come out of my shell and be more extroverted compared to seventh and eighth grade. This song not only sound amazing but also has a personal connection to me.

Get Lucky by Daft Punk(and Pharrell Williams) is an awesome song that brings me joy every time I hear it. I especially love the length of the song, being over six minutes long. I see a lot of artists making masterpieces and works of art, only to then make the song a minute and a half long. Not only does it have a good intro and buildup, but it maintains this throughout the entire song and not once do I feel like it's being too repetitive or boring. Playing this in the car whenever makes the drive wherever feel that much better.

Shook Ones, Pt. II by Mobb Deep is the only song that can challenge F Song as my favorite song. It was one of the first songs I ever played when I first got my car last summer and it's what got me into older Hip Hop and Rap music. When I first heard it in 8 Mile when Eminem was rapping against Falcon, I went onto YouTube and watched the actual music video that the beat was from. As I was watching it, I realized how much different it was from the other stuff I usually listen to. I believe this song was fundamental to me becoming who I am today.
