During the tsunami test the water went around the building so no water got in so everybody survived.

Our first attempt was not able to withstand the earthquake. Our structure fell off the desk and did not survive.
In the volcanic eruption test we covered our structure in tin foil keeping the lava, ash, and hot air out. then we realized there were a few pieces of tin foil that was not taped on firmly.
The building did withstand the tsunami test. The tsunami went around the structure instead of going over or through. The only thing the tsunami did to the structure was jiggle it a little bit.

On our first attempt our building did not withstand the earthquake test. we realized our building did not have enough weight. we cut a hole in the building and put some heavy items in it. When we were done we firmly secured the flap with some tape. The weight also helped to not juggle the building during the tsunami.
since there were flaps of tin foil that were noticed in the first attempt, we taped them up so that on the second attempt the flaps would not be seen.

So on the earthquake test it just fell off of the lap table. We also didn't have our steel sealed to the concrete to make the lava not come in.

the cardboard which you could not see is concrete in reality. The next layer is tin foil which is used as steel in reality it helps keep it together and keep the hot air out. On the inside we had Bubble rap so if stuff was bouncing around you would have a nice cushion to land on. We used tape to keep the building together and block any holes or gaps in the tin foil.
