This picture shows sub-framing through the lens of looking through a plastic jug. The chopsticks also trap the object to create an additional form of subframe. I also tried to make the object off-center to create a more dynamic pose. What also could be interpreted is that the bottom of the jug helps guide the viewer into directing their view to the object with the upward bump and the lines created from it.

My phone couldn't take a better quality picture, but I name this piece: 'Racoon Studies'. The piece shows the raccoon sub-framing, reading from a book, or sketching something in a sketchbook. The point of this piece is to show subframing and I tried to increase the visual appeal by not playing the raccoon in the exact center of the screen. I can imagine this scene at the beginning of a TV show episode, or a movie, where the main point is for the raccoon to read something fascinating in the book and then articulate what the raccoon discovers to his friends. I hope this meets the criteria for the sub-framing assignment.

I wanted to take a picture using a simple form of sub-framing of a character shown through some frame. My backpack straps create the sub-framing that could lead the eye to more easily see characters peaking through the door. The triangle aspect of the bag's framing could also be interpreted as a downward arrow, leading the eye to look diagonally down to see the character peaking through the door.
