Create one post per school. Enter your school name at the top of your post. Then, answer the following questions and include the number of each item with your response. 1. What should students be able to do?
2. What do students know how to do? (70% or more of the class scored Levels 4 & 5) These standards can be placed into stations.
3. What standard(s) should be addressed in small group instruction?
4. What are the misconceptions?
5. If this was your class, what would your next steps be?

Students should be able to understand place value to the thousandths, all operations with decimals, multiplication and division of whole numbers with 4 by 2 digits
2. Students know how to read, write, and compare decimals to the thousandths; they are also able to add, subtract, mult, & divide decimals to hundredths.
3. In small groups, students should work on finding whole-number quotients of whole numbers up to four-digit dividends, and two-digit divisors; and they should also concentrate on using place value to round decimals.
4. Misconceptions: Even though you can perform the operations with place value, it doesn't mean you have the foundational skills required to show conceptual understanding of numbers.
5. They must be able to explain patterns in the number of zeros of the product when multiplying by a power of ten and the placement of the decimal when dividing by a power of ten.
