         <description><![CDATA[<div>There was a serious risk, just by driving the car. The location of the gas tank, when rear ended, would strike the gas can, thus causing the car to explode. There was no modification to the car in any way, and the plaintiff was doing nothing out of the ordinary to cause the accident from occurring.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

When they designed this car they placed the gas tanks in the back of the car. This caused the cars to flame up and explode when rear ended.          <description><![CDATA[<div>In November 1971 Mrs. Gray and Richard Grimshaw, 13, were rear ended. The Pinto they were driving erupted in flames and exploded. They both suffered severe burns. Mrs. Gray died from these burns a few days later. Richard however, managed to survive but has gone though countless surgeries and endured endless pain. </div>]]></description>
