I am an educator of all things. Chemistry, History, Math, Nature, etc. I love to learn, and I love to teach. I am a lover of books and silly read-aloud. I am flexible, creative, energetic, and engaged.  I am passionate, fierce, and loyal. I am a great baker.

I currently teach 6th-grade math and am the dean of the 5th and 6th grades. I believe that learning is lifelong and that students learn best when having fun. I want every student to leave my class with the motto, "I am good at math, it may be hard, but I can do it." I love the little notes I find around my classroom that say things like "Math is my favorite class" or "I love math" I want my students to have a positive perspective on math and school in general. 

I love the outdoors. I want to teach in lots of different locations around the world. I want to bring my students to those places to experience them. (The first picture is from the Grand Canyon, where I took 12 students on a White Water trip looking at the Water Rights and the Grand Canyon.)

I am a soccer, ski, and lacrosse coach. I have taught sailing and whitewater canoeing, and kayaking. I love outdoor skills and experiential learning. 

I am a graduate student at Lesley University.
