Hello there! I'm Caitrin and I'll be your teacher this fall! In my classroom, I'd like to think we'll have a lot of fun. I like to give space to be silly, to be curious, to be playful, and also to work hard. We're going to learn a lot...about math, reading, social studies, science, art...but also about ourselves. In this classroom, we are going to learn about our feelings, and what we can do when our feelings start to get really big. I'll be right by your side the entire year, and I'm really looking forward to having you in my class!

Hello! My name is Sara and I’d like to tell you about an exciting reform sweeping education. Universal Design for Learning is a paradigm shift for many educators. We are redesigning the classroom and curriculum to better meet the needs of all students. By considering the needs of our “outlier students” first we are avoiding teaching to the middle and are creating environments where all students can thrive. While it may seem daunting, teachers who embrace UDL find that it makes their lessons stronger and their planning better. I hope that you will join me and learn more about UDL.
