Harriet Tubman is an activist and has a big impact on history. Her full name is Harriet Tubman, née Araminta Ross. She was born under the name Araminta Ross. She died March 10, 1913 in Auburn, New York. Something about her birthday, no one knows the exact day she was born. It is ‘unknown’. She was born in 1820 but she believed she was born in 1825. Harriet Tubman was born a slave.
‘Tubman was born a slave in Maryland's Dorchester County around 1820. At age five or six, she began to work as a house servant. Seven years later she was sent to work in the fields. While she was still in her early teens, she suffered an injury that would follow her for the rest of her life.’
Source: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part4/4p1535.html#:~:text=Tubman%20was%20born%20a%20slave,the%20rest%20of%20her%20life.
