2 How does recycling benefit the environment?

1. Reducing environmental pollution

Recycling reduces the amount of waste going to landfills, which reduces the release of toxic substances into soil and water, as well as air pollution.

2. Not protecting natural resources

Recycling does not reduce the demand for new raw materials, which means that fewer trees are cut down, less water and minerals are consumed.

4. Not reducing greenhouse gases

Recycling does not contribute to the reduction of CO2 and other greenhouse gases, which plays an important role in the fight against climate change.

3-It is a mixture that consists largely of decayed organic matter and is used for fertilizing and conditioning land.
