It's a great story to teach main idea/ idea development while also teaching students mistakes are okay and can be an opportunity for greater things.

In this he learns about the Jataka Tales and learns more about himself. The book has beautiful illustrations and touches of video games references in it as well!

This book is quite literally the title- the main character tries to convince the reader not to read the book and not even turn the page and uses many tactics. The words are carefully placed on the page. They're crooked, some are HUGE, some words are elongated to emphasize how serious the character is and looks pretty funky on the page.

The poems are in the shape for what the poem is about (ex. a poem about an umbrella has the words in an umbrella shape).
