However, they were being relocated to a death camp. When Frank realized this, he and many others jumped off their train and ran into a nearby forest. Frank and others escaped alive. He later found a camp of Jews hiding in the forest. There was constant fear of being found or an attack by the German soldiers.The camp had no weapons to speak of. Soon the camp was attacked.
