My team stayed in a hotel called the “Grand Sierra Resort and Casino”.  The first thing that my team and I noticed was it was 109 degrees outside of the airport, and worst of all it was humid. Despite the heat and everything, we had a great time at the tournament. This time, I traveled with 2 of my teammates instead of my mom and dad. Our flight was 9 and ½ hours to get to Minnesota and then another 2 hour flight to get to Kansas City. Our flights got delayed so the grand total of hours was a 17 hour drag. I met up with the rest of our team in Kansas and my coach and he said that me and 3 others would join him in the drive to Branson. Turns out it was a 4 hour drive with the most annoying teammates in the State of Hawaii. The 6 of us drove to a place called “Ballparks of America”. That compound had EVERYTHING a kid could think of.
