He got more names due to his hideous acts. Some of them were The Otaku Murderer, The Little Girl Murderer or Dracula Miyazaki. The reason for this being that he abducted little girls, killed them and indulged in sexual activities with their corpses. On one occasion, he not only drank the victim's blood but ate her hand as well. He also preserved body parts as trophies and sent postcards to the families describing the murder. His father committed suicide and Miyazaki was hanged in 2008, aged 45.

Ted Bundy was an American serial killer, kidnapper, rapist, and necrophile. He operated in various states in the USA and confessed to killing 30 women. He revisited crime scenes and indulged in sexual acts with the corpses. Bundy decapitated at least 12 victims and kept their heads as trophies in his apartment. Aged 42, Bundy died on the electric chair in 1989. His own defence attorney said, "Ted, was the very definition of heartless evil."

Bonin was also known as the 'Freeway Killer'. Between 1979 and 1980, he raped, tortured and murdered at least 21 young men.  Bonin would dump their bodies along freeways in South California. After being convicted for 14 of his killings, he was executed by lethal injection in 1996. His sadistic side was still seen during his prison sentence where he corresponded with many of his victims' families about how their children reacted to his torture.

 Jeffrey Dahmer was responsible for dismembering 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. Dahmer also indulged in necrophilia and cooking body parts of his victim, then eating them. He was eventually caught after a prospective victim managed to overpower him. Dahmer was sentenced to 15 terms of life imprisonment in 1992. But he was beaten to death by a fellow prisoner at the Columbia Correctional Institution two years later.

Earle Nelson (1897–1928) – American serial killer.
Most of Nelson's victims were landladies, whom he would approach on the premise of renting a room. Nelson often studied his worn Bible, using it to keep his victim at ease and off-guard around him. Once he made sure he had gained their trust, he would kill them, usually by strangling them, and engage in necrophilia with their corpse.

Edmund Kemper, known as “The Co-ed Killer”
Edmund Kemper is an American serial killer and necrophile who carried out a series of brutal murders in California in the 1970s. He murdered his grandparents when he was 15 years old then later killed and dismembered six female hitchhikers in the Santa Cruz area. He then murdered his mother and one of her friends before turning himself in to the police days later. He was found guilty in November 1973 of eight counts of murder. He asked for the death penalty, but instead received life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris, nicknamed ‘The Tool Box Killers’
Two American serial killers who together murdered five young women in California in 1979. Bittaker and Norris lured victims into their van and drove them to secluded areas where they both raped and tortured them horrifically before murdering them. In 1981 Bittaker and Norris were charged with murder, kidnapping and rape. Bittaker was sentenced to death and remains on death row to this day.[update] Norris was spared execution in return for his testimony against Bittaker and sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Ian Brady and Myra Hindley killed five children between 1963 and 1965, in Greater Manchester, England. The victims where between 10 and 17 years old and were sexually assaulted before being brutally murdered. Three of the victims were discovered in graves dug on Saddleworth Moor and the last victim’s body was found at Brady’s house. The whereabouts of the fourth victim, Keith Bennett remains unknown. Both Brady and Hindley were later sentenced to life imprisonment. Hindley died in prison in 2002 while Brady has since been confined in the maximum security Ashworth Hospital.

Between 1967 and 1987 Fred West and his wife Rose tortured, raped and murdered at least 11 young women and girls. The pair were finally apprehended and charged in 1994 after police obtained a search warrant and located several human bones buried within the garden and under the floor boards of their home. During his trial, Fred West hanged himself prior to being convicted. In 1995 Rose West was jailed for life having been found guilty on 10 counts of murder.

David Parker Ray  is easily one of the most twisted minds on this list. In 1999, Cynthia Vigil Jaramillo escaped a small motor home, running naked into the desert after overpowering Ray's girlfriend. Police followed her directions back to the trailer, where they found a horrifying dungeon built specifically for the purpose of torturing women. After that, Ray became known as the toy box killer. He would pick up women, sometimes only young girls, and then rape and torture them systematically for weeks and months, with his friends and his girlfriend participating. When they first arrived, the girls would hear a recording in which Ray would tell them all the horrors they were about to endure, including mutilation, beatings, rape, and even forced bestiality. It is suspected that he tortured as many as 60 women over a 40-year span.

Comfort /Gain Killers: they are not professional because they select their own targets and do not receive a salary from a third party for commiting murder, rather they commit murder in response to an emotional need for comfort or security. In order to become comfort/gain killers these criminals get themselves involved in theft, fraud, non payment of debts, embezzlement and other property crimes.   

Hired Assassins: Professional hit men kill they do it because it’s their job. They are emotionally detached contract killers rather than self-serving serving killers.
