         <description><![CDATA[<div>When children eat food they will need to eat a range of foods because they need to get their nutrients, for example drinking milk would help because it is a source of protein and fat but it also has a lot of vitamins and calcium.<br>also children should eat a lot of fruit so that they get the natural juices and vitamins that they need and fruit will be good for their diet.<br>Having fibre in a child's balanced diet will help the child fill up and digest properly, it will also keep the child's cholesterol levels in check.<br>Upgrade&nbsp;<br>Children when eating foods parents need to know what they are eating because some foods contain a lot of carbs some are good but if you have to many it won't good for the children.<br><br>If children are on a diet then parents need to watch what the children eat because if they have to much sugar it can make the children ill they could be come diabetic from all the sugar, Parents also need to watch if children eat fats because that can be really bad for the children because it can cause the children health problems by putting weight on if they put more on that they shouldn't it could end really bad for the child.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>If the children have poor nutrition it can cause health problems such as children ca become over weight or obese so it is important to give the children the right nutrition so that the children are the right weight and that there body are getting the right flow go though them so that they don't have problems when they are growing up.<br>If the children don't have the right nutrition they might get low on energy and become very ill so if the children have the right nutrition and the right vitamins in there system then they will have a good energy level</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>a child may require a special diet because of medical reasons for example if the child id allergic to wheat and the dinner at the early years setting has wheat in it then the child will have to require for a different dinner suitable for that child.<br>If the child requires a special diet it could be a different religion and would like something they are used to for example staff could read up on what the child has and prepare the dinner for her/him so that their diet stays the same in the setting.<br>In the early years setting one of the children could be a vegetarian and can't or won't eat meet so then the staff will have to make a special meal to meet their diet they are on. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In an early years setting the staff could encourage children to make healthy food choices by making animals out of fruit or vegetables or staff could involve children in planning heathier meals for dinner and tea.<br>Staff could also get children to choose some of the shopping when making the shopping list up, adults can also get children to plant fruit and vegetables and get the children to pick them when they are ready to be picked out of the ground.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
